Celebrating Rodeo Tradition
The Ridge Riders Club, founded in the 1930s, began as a horse riding club—hence the name "Ridge Riders." The club hosted its first horse show in 1952, and in the 1980s, introduced its first rodeo and queen. Over the years, the Ridge Riders have made a lasting impact on the community by presenting a first-class rodeo, now known as the Colorama Pro Rodeo, which attracts professional contestants from across the U.S. and Canada every first weekend of May. The club also hosts the Ridge Riders Junior Rodeo, Cleatis Lacy Memorial Bull Riding, and barrel racing clinics.
The Ridge Riders Club thrives thanks to the dedicated members and volunteers who devote countless hours to making these events possible. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
